With great hope and even greater humility, I have decided to run for a seat on the San Diego Unified School Board.

As a product of San Diego’s public schools, and as the son of two retired teachers, I know firsthand the critical importance to our families of a strong and innovative public school system. Our public schools need to offer every child the opportunity for a bright future, while equipping new generations with the skills to address the challenges of the 21st Century.

To succeed in making these changes, I need you to join our campaign. We need your ideas, your hard work, and of course your financial support.

I need your contributions (up to $500) so we can take our message to the voters. I need your help so we can, together, build the better future our children so richly deserve.

Together, I know we can make a difference. As Margaret Meade once said, “Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
